Liam Quinn is one of the biggest movie stars in the world…and the only man Elissa Holt has ever truly loved.

After being out of her life for six years, he and his gorgeous fiancé are set to star in the new Broadway show Elissa is stage managing. The only trouble is, when late night rehearsals bring Elissa and Liam together, the line between what is and what could have been gets blurred. Now one moment of weakness is about to create a scandal that will echo around the world.

Elissa knows that falling for Liam again would be a tragedy in the making, but as any good romantic knows, love doesn’t always follow the script.

I was a little hesitant to read this book. I absolutely loved Cassie and Ethan in Bad Romeo and Broken Juliet. Sometimes I’m afraid that a side characters story might not live up to the original story. That was definitely not the case with Wicked Heart. I think I may have loved Liam and Elissa even more. Liam is so swoon worthy I had to make myself slow my reading so I could spend more time with him. Elissa is also a great female lead. She is determined and focused, but also human and flawed.
Leisa Rayven is officially the queen of second chance romance. She knows exactly how to play every aspect of it. The longing to feel something familiar, the hesitation to have it end badly again, every word was amazing. She also has mastered only giving you so much of the backstory at a time to make you read at a furious pace. Once all is revealed , you understand why you couldn’t have it all at once. The angst level throughout this story is at an all time high. The sexual tension is so hot I thought my book may spontaneously combust at any moment. 5 stars and bottle of Viniq! Enjoy!
