Life outside of her house was a new experience for Della Sloane. The dark secrets of her past weren’t something she ever intended to share with anyone. They would never understand. No one would ever get close enough to find out. There was always a chance she’d go crazy sooner than they expected…

Woods Kerrington had never been one to be attracted to fragile females. They seemed like too much work. He wasn’t in it for the work just the pleasure. A night full of naughty fun had been exactly what was on his mind when he’d laid eyes on the hot little number that didn’t know how to pump gas and needed some help.

What he didn’t know was she was as fragile as they came.
The carefree girl who spoke her mind and didn’t care what the world thought of her was more breakable than he could ever imagine…

“There is someone out there that will love you. They’ll want you for you.Don’t settle for less.Life is short and I’m tired of wasting it”

Two words: Woods Kerrington.

Abbi Glines Rosemary Beach series is one of my top all-time favorite series. I am immediately pulled into each book. I have laughed, cried and fallen in love reading these books. The characters are larger than life and I miss them every time I close one of these books. Twisted Perfection is one of the best in this already stellar series. So let’s get started, shall we?

As mentioned above, Woods Kerrington. Yowza! I was a smitten kitten where Woods was concerned while reading the first four books, but now that I have his background… Woods- I want to have his book babies. He really surprised me. In fact, I never saw this story coming!

“Losing you would be the only thing that could destroy me.”

Woods has the weight of the world on his shoulders. Huge responsibilities that no one his age should have to deal with. His life is not as charmed as he would like everyone to believe. When he meets Della, she is a beautiful, naïve mess. Super naïve, actually. That is for the book to explain though. Anyway, Della was a mess in the most interesting way. I loved her as much as I loved Woods. Their chemistry was made of the stuff we girls dream about! But it didn’t start that way. Well, it started with the dirty and the love and respect came later. It was kind of cool. A one-stand that should have disappeared…

But where the story really captured me was in Woods and his inner alpha coming alive. This is not referring to the alpha he is in the bedroom, or his office, or the car… but the man who will do anything to protect and care for Della. The man who is strong enough to let her heal and do things her own way. He was perfect.

“You are mine. Do you hear me? You are mine, Della Sloane. I will take care of you. Nothing is taking you away from me. Nothing.”

As far as story structure, characters and development, this book was textbook. The flow was easy and didn’t lag. The love story progressed naturally. And the backgrounds of Woods and Della were original and honest.

The ending was a shock. Truly. It was a cliffhanger and I was so shocked I was grateful for the break.

5 Stars and pair it with a Berry Moscato Sangria! Cheers!
