Sweet on You #1
Fabiola Francisco

Eight months ago, I made a deal with my best friend. This wasn't your typical pact. No, we had to take a different route. The deal was that if we were still single by fall, we would join online dating. Yes…now I am that girl. Just me, though, because she met a guy and saved herself from the awkwardness of dating people you meet via the Internet.

Cheesy pick up lines.
Inappropriate messages.
Disaster dates.

I don’t want to be "Savannah, profile 8713," but a pinky promise is a promise you keep. What I wasn’t counting on was meeting a guy at the local bar.

So what happens when you decide to open yourself up to new opportunities? You might just cross paths with someone who makes you believe in love. Parker Wilde brought out the best in me and understood the worst, but when an amazing opportunity presents itself and our lives take different directions, is being sweet on Wilde enough for us?

The title says it all. This book is super sweet.

What could possibly more fun than two girls making a pact to find a good man via the internet? Sounds like a plan to me! It’s tough out there ladies and this is just one girl’s story. Savannah’s story.

Prepare yourself; this is not an instalove story. These two take their time. They have a few bumps in the road, but it is all worth it. The love story is slow-building and so beautiful. The author took to the time to establish the story and create wonderful characters in Savannah and Parker. I was in love with both of them. Rarely do you see character development like this.

I love stories that where the girlfriends are searching for Mr. Right. It always leads to quirky fun and the best of all… Mr. Right. And this book did not disappoint. I felt completely connected to each character. I don’t always love the bestie, but Emily was awesome. I would totally hang with her in real life.  And just a moment for Parker, who was completely swoontastic. Sexy as sin and sweet as pie, he was a great hero for this book. As all American and the sport he loved, Parker made my list of heroes I’d like to have a beer with, I loved his chemistry with Savannah. They were perfect. From the friendship between Emily and Savannah to the relationship that cultivates between Savannah and Parker, there is plenty of fun and sweetness.

Full of passion and baked goods, this book is irresistible. You laugh, you’ll sigh, you’ll rummage your pantry for muffin mix. Most of all you’ll squee with joy when love wins.

If you want to read am angst-free book where love is still possible, this is the book for you.

4 stars and pair it with a pumpkin pie martini. Cheers!
