Bleeding Hearts
A.L. Jackson
January 22,2017

From NYT & USA Today Bestselling Author A.L. Jackson comes the next sexy, gripping Bleeding Stars Stand-Alone Novel...

I'm Ash Evans.
The life of the party.
Hot. Rich. Charismatic.
A tattooed rock star with the world at my feet.
I burn through women faster than the strike of a match.

I've embraced my lifestyle and live it to the fullest.
Until the day my lifestyle caught up to me.

Willow Langston found me at my lowest.
Facedown in a puddle of my own blood.

I owe her my life and I have three months to repay that debt.
What I never should have done was touch her. Kiss her. Take her to my bed.

Love wasn't supposed to be a part of the equation.
I gave up that nasty complication a long damned time ago.
Now I want her more than my next breath.
But she doesn't know what I know.

Do I leave to protect her? Or can I face my demons and ask her to Stay?

Sometimes I find myself at a loss to find the words to describe just how much I love a book. That is the case with the latest book in the Bleeding Stars series, Stay. It’s a simple one syllable word, but it proves to be so much more complicated than that for Willow and Ash. Ash is your typical bad boy rockstar. He likes to party and has no intention of settling down with one woman anytime soon. He has a great sense of humor and makes no apologies for who he is. Willow is the exact opposite and has no intention on giving her body or her heart to anyone unless she knows that it’s forever. She is by far one of the strongest female characters I have read in a long time.  They have  absolutely nothing in common, but when their worlds collide the connection they share is undeniable. I loved watching the way these two dance around their feelings, the push and pull, they way they both tried to deny what they want. The chemistry between them almost set my Kindle on fire. However the best parts of the story for me were when they both let their guards down and gave each other their ugly truths. Both of their stories are so incredibly sad, but when they allow themselves to be vulnerable it’s absolutely gut wrenching. This story will break you and then build you back up again. I loved every minute of it. I also loved seeing all the other members of the band and getting a glimpse into how things are going for them. I cant recommend this book enough. 5 stars and many shots of tequila! Enjoy!
