Gabe, Jace, and Ash: three of the wealthiest, most powerful men in the country. They’re accustomed to getting anything they want. Anything at all. For Gabe, it’s making one particular fantasy come true with a woman who was forbidden fruit. Now she’s ripe for the picking...

When Gabe Hamilton saw Mia Crestwell walk into the ballroom for his hotel’s grand opening, he knew he was going to hell for what he had planned. After all, Mia is his best friend’s little sister. Except she’s not so little anymore. And Gabe has waited a long time to act on his desires.

Gabe has starred in Mia’s fantasies more than once, ever since she was a teenager with a huge crush on her brother’s best friend. So what if Gabe’s fourteen years older? Mia knows he’s way out of her league, but her attraction has only grown stronger with time. She’s an adult now, and there’s no reason not to act on her most secret desires.

As Gabe pulls her into his provocative world, she realizes there’s a lot she doesn’t know about him or how exacting his demands can be. Their relationship is intense and obsessive, but as they cross the line from secret sexual odyssey to something deeper, their affair runs the risk of being exposed—and vulnerable to a betrayal far more intimate than either expected.

“He possessed her with just a kiss”

The title of this book is accurate it rushes in and takes hold of you. I was a little concerned at first that this story was going to be the same old thing that I had already read in 50 Shades or the Crossfire series. While Gabe Hamilton is almost the perfect combo of Christian Grey and Gideon Cross at first glance, his romance with Mia offers something new that we haven’t seen before. You’re going to need something dark and heavy to drink with this- I’m thinking Crown Royal.

I loved most everything about this story. Mia is a younger woman that’s always had a thing for her much older brothers best friend. I myself always had a thing for older men while I was growing up so this was very appealing to me. Gabe is rich and hot and powerful and at first he thinks it will only be a fulfillment of fantasy when he offers Mia a ‘contract’ to sign to work for him in his office and his bedroom. Obviously he will fall in love with her and much drama will ensue.

Pour yourself a stiff one… (pun intended). There were some things in this book that I found to be a little overwhelming. One of the sex scenes was a little much for me. They went into ‘forbidden territory’. If you’re into that then it might not be so hard for you to read. Although I can say that it was something I had not read before. There is also a scene that is probably one of the most brutal that I have read in a long time.

All in all I enjoyed the story and am looking forward to reading the rest of the series. The sex scenes were fantastic (with one exception). Their story was good and was pretty believable- there were no deep dark secrets or tragedies that made Gabe the way he was. He’s an alpha male and he likes what he likes no excuses or apologies. And while Mia is somewhat submissive to him, she is not a doormat. Also the dynamic of a long time forbidden romance. Always wondering if the real thing would live up to the fantasy. In this case it definitely does!

4 stars and some Crown on the rocks! Enjoy!
