Red's Top Ten (11)

Friendship is a vital part of life. It is almost as important as water or even air. A best friend can keep you afloat when you would otherwise drown in the misery of life. A best friend knows things about you that you may not know yourself. They are willing to sacrifice their own happiness in order for you to be happy. They are your shelter in the storm. They are the one person who you can turn to no matter what. We all need a best friend. More than we need a lover, more than we need our parents or our siblings. Mostly because we get to choose them. Weather they have been in your life for years and years or whether you have only recently found them, their impact on your life is tremendous, as is yours theirs.

Here’s to best friends and the top 10 books with great friendships!
