entire life to the club. After losing his wife, he knew he’d never love another woman. And with two daughters to raise and a club to manage, that was just fine with him. These days, Reese keeps his relationships free and easy—he definitely doesn’t want to waste his time on a glorified cleaning lady like London Armstrong.

Too bad he’s completely obsessed with her.

Besides running her own business, London’s got her junkie cousin’s daughter to look after—a more reckless than average eighteen-year-old. Sure she’s attracted to the Reapers’ president, but she’s not stupid. Reese Hayes is a criminal and a thug. But when her young cousin gets caught up with a ruthless drug cartel, Reese might be the only man who can help her. Now London has to make the hardest decision of her life—how far will she go to save her family?

I have been waiting for Picnic’s story, but honestly, I wasn’t sure how that was going to go. I mean, he is a lot of personality. It would take one hell of a woman to tie him down. Well, it turns out that London was just that woman.
This was the best one yet, and that is saying a lot. I never left the couch. I just kept reading.

“Just let me be strong for you for a minute, okay?” He said softly. “You’ve held on for a long time, sweetheart. Nobody can say you haven’t been strong. But it’s been a hell of a night, so why don’t you let me hold you and help you right now, okay?”

Picnic is swoonilicious! Yes, that’s a word! He is strong and confident like any good leader, but he is so much more. And London was even stronger than he was. She was a business woman and a badass in her own write. She was loyal to a fault and her love knew no bounds. I loved London!

The attraction between these two started in the last book allowing us a bit of foreshadowing into Picnic’s story. So when they were feeling the attraction early in this book, it was no surprise. But London being a tough gal with a good head on her shoulders, she knew that the MC was trouble and wanted nothing to do with them other than her business contracts. Getting to see beyond the hard exterior of Picnic was such a treat! He was exactly as I hoped he would be. He was no pushover, he was calculated, even in love and he was pure alpha goodness.

As with all the Reaper stories, there was TONS of excitement, mystery and plot twisting to keep me on the edge of my seat. When it all hit the fan I was thrilled with how Pic and London each handled it. I never felt the urge to throw my kindle or scream at the characters. They we adults and had mature and clever responses to every adversity that came their way. Even when they weren’t together, they were still a team. They just responded well to each other. Like yin and yang. They just fit.

These books are not romances, they are bikermances. Not a lot of flowers and rainbows, but plenty of passion. The writing is so strong in this book. I was pulled in by Picnic and London. They had great chemistry, but it was so much more. And it wouldn’t be a Reapers book if it didn’t have all our favorite guys in and all around. I love me some Reapers! (Horse… sigh…) Wylde out outdid herself with this book. I cannot wait to see what she does next!

5 Stars and a bottle of Maker’s Mark! I’m sure Pic will appreciate the wax
