Beloved #1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover returns with an unforgettable love story between a writer and his unexpected muse.

Fallon meets Ben, an aspiring novelist, the day before her scheduled cross-country move. Their untimely attraction leads them to spend Fallon’s last day in L.A. together, and her eventful life becomes the creative inspiration Ben has always sought for his novel. Over time and amidst the various relationships and tribulations of their own separate lives, they continue to meet on the same date every year. Until one day Fallon becomes unsure if Ben has been telling her the truth or fabricating a perfect reality for the sake of the ultimate plot twist.

“You’ll never be able to find yourself if you’re lost in someone else.”

Just when you are sure you’ve read the best thing that Colleen Hoover has ever written, she goes and writes another book.

Every single one of her stories has a unique story line. I have never read anything remotely similar to any of her books. November 9 is no exception. Benton and Fallon’s story spans five years, but only 5 days of them are spent together. Both of their stories are incredibly gut wrenching and real. The things that happen in their lives could and do happen to anyone. It is the way that they choose to deal with them that makes their story special.

Colleen writes with real emotion that makes you instantly connect and empathize with the characters. There is nothing particularly exceptional about them, yet they are amazing at the same time. I loved the way this story flowed. There were no down times and I finished this story in record time. One, because I had to know what was going to happen, and two because it is written so flawlessly that you are able to completely lose yourself in the story. There is always some twist in every one of her stories that you never see coming. Something that connects the characters even more than we thought on the surface. The twist in Benton and Fallons story will absolutely gut you. I never saw it coming.

 A must read.

5 stars and a lemon twist! Enjoy!
