What happens when something you were not looking for comes along, and it's more than you ever could have imagined?

Changing you.

How do you live with yourself when you look in the mirror and don’t recognize the broken reflection staring back? Because it makes you do things that you never expected you were capable of.

Will a heart that's been torn in two pieces keep on beating? I'm about to find out.

Love Divided. The decision should be easy... it isn't.

Why do we as women make choices that hurt us? Why do we pass by the great thing that is in front of us, to go after the thing that is no good for us? These are the questions that Niki confronts in Love Divide.

Niki does not see herself as the settle down, marry and have a bunch of babies’ type of person. She is a free spirited, independent individual. She has always taken care of herself and feels that no one deserves to be burdened by her issues. Gavin has known from jump that Niki is the woman for him. She pieced him together when he was going through a rough patch and they have formed an amazing friendship that borders on being an official relationship. Every time they get close to crossing that line Niki hits the brakes.  Then one night suit and tie guy waltzes into her life. Insert pretty woman reenactment.

Aiden Alexander aka Suit and tie guy waltzes into the club Niki works at one night and gives her an opportunity that financially she can’t refuse. Of course long hours spent with someone can lead to feelings. Niki saw the relationship one way and Aiden another. Despite multiple warning signs and red flags Niki pursues trying to have a relationship with Aiden. Unfortunately a major bomb is dropped on Niki and ultimately leads to a life threatening situation.

I really enjoyed the second installment in this series just as much as the first. I love how relatable some of the situations are to real life. There were references to Niki’s sister and her boyfriend and I seriously hope there is a third installment that delves into their story. My interest is piqued Cary!

I gave 4 stars to Love Divide and would pair it with a Margarita and a shot of Tequila on the side
