As the lead singer of Stage Dive, Jimmy is used to getting whatever he wants, whenever he wants it, whether it's booze, drugs, or women. However, when a PR disaster serves as a wake-up call about his life and lands him in rehab, he finds himself with Lena, a new assistant to keep him out of trouble.

Lena's not willing to take any crap from the sexy rocker and is determined to keep their relationship completely professional, despite their sizzling chemistry. But when Jimmy pushes her too far and Lena leaves, he realizes that he may just have lost the best thing that ever happened to him.

“Sometimes things that make the least sense are the most true. Such is the mystery of life.”

This is such a fun series! Kylie Scott is a great writer. She really makes the story jump off the pages. Her character development is top notch. And she always finds that perfect balance of sexy and romantic. Scott really is a can’t-miss author.

“Your dark parts don’t scare me, Jimmy. They never did.”

Jimmy and Lena are brought together due to Jimmy’s addiction issues and after going through several sobriety companions, Lena is finally the keeper. She won’t put up with his nonsense and moodiness. The have fabulous chemistry! Lena gives as good as she takes and Jimmy has finally met his match.

What I loved about this book was that even with the heavy subject matter, I laughed… a lot. They were hilarious together. And once those two finally got their sh*t together? H-O-T!!!

Lena was sassy and clever and I loved her completely. She was a great heroine. She was strong and compassionate and she never let me down. I loved her wit and sarcasm. She was great.

“The truth is, I’m all about you, Lena. You’re my best friend. You’re my girl.”

And Jimmy? If you love rockers, you will love Jimmy. He is swoontastic! He’s a PIA, but you love him for it. This is an emotional story and Jimmy is overcoming some scary stuff, but he is beyond loveable throughout. He oozes sexiness. You can’t go wrong with that!

“Whatever else he might be, Jimmy Ferris was special and complicated, beautiful and beastly, all rolled into one.”

Overall I give this book 4 Stars and I paired it with O’Doul’s, cuz, ya know sobriety and all… 😉 I recommend Kylie Scott and any of her books. Cheers!
