My name is Grim and this is the beginning... This isn't a fairytale romance or for the faint of heart. Deep in the hills of Drag Creek Kentucky, there is a group of outlaws, whose love of moonshine and Harley Davidson runs through their blood. We are known as the Black Rebel Riders' MC. For the past twenty years my club has been at war with a rival MC, The Devil's Rejects.

Grim is a quick read with plenty of story packed in. It centers on the Black rebel Riders MC and their ongoing struggle with the Devil’s Rejects. Grim is living his life and minding his own business when he finds a beauty on the side of the road and brings her home.

This is a great beginning to what I think will be an awesome MC series. The plot was unique and clever. The danger in what they were doing was delivered beautifully. It felt real. I connected with each character and with an MC book, there is an entire community of characters to meet. With only 138 pages, I was quite impressed with how much story we received and how strong the story was.

I am not a fan of instalove. The relationship between Grim and Red felt fast for me, but then again, nothing about their lives is conventional. The book ended with loose ends, but I assume they are tied up in the next book or at least continued. I look forward to reading the next one!

I give this book 3.5 stars and pair it with a Captain & Coke.
