Ari,

I never thought it was possible to love something as much as I love you. You have brought light to my darkest days and nights. You give hope when all feels lost. Every morning waking up to your smiling face makes me feel as if I am still dreaming. The last nine months have been nothing short of a miracle for me. Watching your body change was beautiful but feeling our baby inside of you, knowing we made this out of our love, it’s just…. amazing. You have always been the strongest person I know but witnessing you last night, it was beyond my comprehension. While I was scared to death, you stayed strong. When all I wanted was for the pain to stop, you forged on. I could never have done what you did but I will thank you every day of my life for the gift you have granted me. Gabriel Austin Michaels is the luckiest child in the world to have a mother like you and it will be my pleasure to see that he remembers that every day of his life. I know we didn’t have the best examples but I have no doubt we can change the pattern. We can make it better, hell it will be better, because he will never doubt the love felt in our family. Darlin, you are perfection.

With all my love,

Canyon
